Rouge, LA - Vascular Specialty Center is the nation’s
leading vascular surgical enroller for the national trial: Targeted

Study: Renal Contrast Nephropathy Incidence in High Risk Patients.
This is a randomized, placebo-controlled physician-sponsored U.S.

using the Benephit Infusion System in patients at very high
risk for RCN, diabetics with moderate or severe renal dysfunction.
This study will assess whether the administration of fenoldopam
during angiography protects the kidney from damage that may be
cause by contrast dye in those at risk.
“As more of our procedures become endovascular and thus
angiogram based, we are committed to ensuring that we obtain maximal
kidney protection to avoid the onset of renal failure”, says
Dr. Albert Sam.
