Vascular Specialty Center Physician Selected to Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class of 2008

Baton Rouge, LA - The Baton Rouge Area Chamber® (BRAC) announced the 2008 Baton Rouge Area Leadership class with Vascular Specialty Center physician Dr. Albert D. Sam II as the sole physician member.  The program, which is in its 23rd year, is designed to develop the area’s leaders of tomorrow through innovative problem-solving and teamwork training. The Baton Rouge Area Chamber leads economic development in the nine-parish Baton Rouge metropolitan area.  Serving as the voice of the business community, BRAC’s membership includes more than 1,500 organizations whose employees represent over a third of the Capital Region workforce. 

“Dr. Sam has demonstrated a commitment to civic responsibility in South Louisiana and this program will help him to develop his skills as a community leader”, says Don Varnado, Chief Administrator, and Vascular Specialty Center.  “As a practice we support and encourage these efforts fully”.
